The 50,000 Signatures Campaign for Zaidi

The Iraqi journalist Muntadar al-Zaidi who threw shoes at George Bush this week shouting ‘This is for the widows and orphans of Iraq’ has been beaten badly whilst in custody in Baghdad. His brother has reported that his ribs and wrist have been broken and that he’s too badly injured to appear in court.
